SPIRITBOX

Haunting inspiration.
Summoned on command.

SpiritBox floating interface

SpiritBox is a haunted delay, glitch, chorus, and lo-fi machine built for those who chase the strange moments most plugins try to avoid.

Inside are four deeply interactive engines: vintage tape-based delay, intervallic glitch movement, multi-voice smear, and bit-crushed collapse. Together, they create spectral pitch shifts, unstable repeats, ghostly modulation, magical glitches, and textures that feel like they arrived from somewhere just beyond the veil.

Expert Mode opens the hidden circuitry, revealing deeper control over timing, randomness, modulation, pitch behavior, smear, crush, and movement.

Haunting Mode is the mystery at the center of SpiritBox — an uncanny behavior system that lets the plugin drift, bend, disturb, and surprise in ways that feel almost alive.

SpiritBox is not another delay. It is a portal for beautiful instability, otherworldly texture, and the kind of inspiration that disappears if you wait too long to capture it.

A Ghost-In-The-Machine
Creative Instrument

Inspired by those strange, electric moments that seem to appear the second the recording light comes on, SpiritBox was designed to make audio feel unstable, alive, and endlessly fascinating. It can smear, bend, fracture, repeat, degrade, and transform sound into something more spectral - while still remaining musical enough to belong inside a real production.

Four Core Effects

Vintage Tape-Based Delay

Create tape-warped repeats, unstable echoes, aged delay textures, and haunted rhythmic movement inspired by the musical imperfections of vintage machines.

Intervallic Glitch Movement

Transform audio with variable pitch-based fragments, spectral shifts, intervallic motion, glitch repeats, and strange musical artifacts that feel interactive and alive.

Multi-Voice Chorus Textures

Add smeared modulation, widened movement, animated depth, and beautifully unstable chorus-like motion for guitars, synths, vocals, and sound design.

Bit Crushing & Lo-Fi Artifacts

Introduce digital grit, broken edges, reduced resolution, aliasing-style textures, and musical degradation that can move from subtle character to total collapse.

Expert Mode

Behind SpiritBox’s front-panel controls is a deeper world most plugins never let you touch.

The Delay engine unlocks forward, backward, and random-direction tape-delay behavior for repeats that can feel stable, reversed, unstable, or haunted.

The Interval engine reveals four different glitch circuits plus — 8 UP, 8 DOWN, +4th, and +5th — for pitch fragments that jump, fracture, repeat, and stack into spectral motion.

The Smear engine opens deeper multi-voice movement, shaping chorus-like width, depth, modulation, and animated instability.

The Crush engine exposes granular control over bit depth, sample-rate reduction, aliasing, digital grit, and broken edges — from subtle damage to total collapse.

Expert Mode is where SpiritBox becomes possessed in the best possible way.
